Student Experience Survey Results
Recently, we received our Student Experience survey results. We administered both a 7- and 20-question survey. We are grateful that 3,394 students in grades 2 through 12 completed the 20-question overall Student Experience survey. We had close to 15,000 responses to the 7-question survey where feedback goes directly to our 2nd through 12th-grade teaching staff. Providing our students an opportunity to share their experiences continues to be one of the most high-leverage practices with regards to our continuous improvement efforts.
The district’s 2023-24 overall mean on the 20-question Student Experience survey is a 3.84 on a 5-point scale.
A few notes regarding the district-level benchmark items:
The top two rated items were:
- “I have friendships with other students.” (4.45)
- “My principal is a good leader.” (4.33)
The lowest rated items were:
- “There is healthy food for me to eat at lunch.” (3.55)“
- Students show respect for each other at this school.” (3.16)
Each school will share with staff and parents their results (strengths and opportunities for growth) and develop an action plan that aims to provide an overall better student experience at each respective site.
Top Workplace
Muskego-Norway Schools has been named a Top Workplace for the 8th year in a row, ranking #3 overall in the large company category! In addition to this great honor, we were also presented with a special category award for Appreciation in being the top workplace that shows genuine appreciation for their staff. Thank you to all of our staff for being the heart of our district and for once again recognizing MNS as a Top Workplace.
2024-25 Parent Advisory Interest
If you are interested in being part of the Parent Advisory Team, working with others to help the district realize our vision to be the District of Choice, please consider signing up for our 2024-25 district-wide Parent Advisory Team by completing this survey. Meetings will be held at the Educational Services Center from 5:00-6:30 PM on the following Mondays: October 14, 2024 (Curriculum focus); December 16, 2024 (Student Services focus); February 24, 2025 (Safety & Facilities focus); April 28, 2024 (Communications, Culture, Co-Curricular focus).
