We recently spent two weeks in the Dominican Republic, and for the very first time we we used only our iPhones; 15 Pro Max and 13 Pro Max, instead of our full-frame mirror-less camera systems.
We were really surprised about the quality of the images that we were able to create. It was very liberating being able to capture images in this way without the worry of getting sand in our expensive equipment.
That being said, we did miss the creative controls avoided by our full-frame cameras, particularly when it came to long-exposure photography. The big test for only using iPhone images will come when we publish our standard coffee-table books of our travels.
