Principal's Message
What a fantastic week it has been! Our recent Fete was a success, bringing together families, friends, and local community members for a day filled with laughter, joy, and connection. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to all the sponsors who generously supported this event, ensuring it was not only enjoyable but also memorable. A special shout-out goes to our dedicated staff and the P & C committee whose hard work and passion made the Fete possible. Your efforts truly showcased the spirit of our school community.
Our students recently showcased their talents at the Macleay Public Schools Music Festival. Mrs Watson led the Mass Choir, a combination of students from schools across the valley. Our students also shined in the Mass Drumming group. We are proud of each and every one of you.
I would also like to take a moment to congratulate two members of our staff, Ms Sandy McElwaine and Ms Rebecca Casey, who received the prestigious Spring Into Art award for their outstanding contributions to Education.
Additionally, I want to thank those parents who have completed the Tell Them From Me survey. Your feedback is invaluable as it helps us identify areas for improvement and celebrate our successes. If you haven’t yet participated, I encourage you to take a few moments to complete the survey. As a fun incentive, if you send a screenshot of your completed survey to Sentral or ClassDojo, your child will receive a delicious Zooper Dooper! Your input is vital in guiding our school improvements and ensuring the best possible environment for our students.
Lastly, I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to our past students who are graduating Year 12 this week. This is a significant milestone, and we are so proud of all you have achieved during your 13 years of education. Your hard work, determination, and resilience have truly paid off, and we can’t wait to see where your futures take you.
As we approach the holiday break, I want to wish everyone a wonderful and restful holiday. Students will return to school on Monday October 14, 2024, and we look forward to welcoming them back refreshed and ready for an exciting term ahead.
Thank you once again for your ongoing support and commitment to making Aldavilla Primary School a wonderful place for our children to learn and grow.

Fete
The Aldavilla Fete had a great turn out! A special thanks to all the P&C, staff, volunteers and sponsors who made the day possible. From thrilling games to delicious food stalls, the fete was packed with excitement. A highlight of the night was definitely the 'Dunk a Teacher' stall. When the ball finally hit the target, a splash sent everyone into a frenzy of laughter, leaving the kids begging for another turn to try and get the teachers soaked again. It was heart warming to see the school and wider community come together and enjoy an evening of fun. We can't wait to see you all for the next one!
Thanks to the Four Aces Car Club and NSW Police who also attended our Fete.
Macleay Public School Awards
Congratulations to Rebecca Casey and Sandra McElwaine (Nanny Mac) who were the recipients of a Macleay Public Schools Award, earlier this month. These awards recognise the dedication and commitment to our students, school and Public Education. We are all very proud of you. 🎉
