Steve Browne, Chief People Officer, LaRosa’s Pizzeria

Accomplished speaker, writer, and human resource management thought leader Steve Browne is dedicated to connecting the global HR community and helping it learn and grow together. Browne has held HR roles in various industries, including manufacturing, consumer products, professional services, and restaurants. He is a past member of the SHRM Board of Directors and has been a Membership Advisory Council representative for the North Central Region of SHRM and a past Ohio State Council director. He facilitates the weekly HR internet forum " HR Net," and HR blog, Everyday People.

Cindy joined Motz in late 2016 and started at Motz as their first Human Resources Manager. During this time, it was critical to the success of the business to help solve their recruiting and retention strategy. As an organization, they wanted to grow and scale but were challenged with finding the right talent to help build fields. Through evaluating their systems and policies, she was able to evolve the company’s recruiting and retention strategy into a position of strength.

Considering joining a Roundtable, but unsure if it's a good fit?

Join Pam Goetting and the Goering Center team on November 6 for a trial Roundtable session. Moderated by Steve Hater, this overview will give you firsthand experience on the dynamics of Goering Center Roundtables, allowing members to try it out while determining if a professionally moderated peer group fits their and their company’s needs.

Important Roundtable Updates

Effective Jan. 1, 2025, Roundtable membership will be $1,200 annually. This change will allow us to enhance programming and outreach, invest in moderators and staff, and expand our services to improve the Roundtable member experience.

If you join a roundtable by December 31, 2024, the annual membership fee will remain $1,000.

New Hire Alert

We have a new member of the team! Chad Oberholtzer has joined the Goering Center as the new Membership Development Manager.

Chad comes to the Goering Center from CSV Marketing, a Manufacturers’ Representative firm based in Vermilion, Ohio. At CSV, he had the responsibility for B2B sales of industrial tools, supplies and safety equipment in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana regions.

Chad also has extensive experience in the Insurance industry both as an Agency Owner and as a Field Specialist with State Farm and Allstate companies. His strengths include Business Development, Relationship Management, Team Leadership, Strategy, Data Analytics and CRM. He graduated from Miami University of Ohio with a BS in Marketing.
