English - In English this week, we finished off our topic of poetry. The children have worked so hard on their own poems about summer, ensuring to follow the 5-7-5 syllable rule in Haiku poems.
Maths - We continued with our topic of money and used our knowledge of addition and subtraction columns to find change and answer word problems.
Oracy Assembly - Our oracy assembly this week was all about debating. The children learnt how to debate respectfully and listen to each others point of view.
Scotswood Gardens - We had such a lovely trip to Scotswood Gardens on Thursday! We learnt all about bee, pollination and parts of a plant. The children were great at remembering and sharing things that we had learned in Science.
