**IB Primary Years Program Evaluation Report**

For the 22-23 school year, Riffenburgh underwent a rigorous evaluation of our IB program. Our evaluators produced a final report with their findings and we wanted to share some of those findings out to our community! We are highlighting one finding each newsletter. There are several standards of practice that IB looks for when doing an evaluation. Over the next few weeks, we will focus on what they found in the Culture: Creating positive school cultures.

Culture 3: The school implements, communicates and regularly reviews an an academic honesty policy that creates cultures of ethical academic practice.

  • The academic honesty policy includes sections outlining the rights and responsibilities of all members of the school community, what constitutes good practice and procedures addressing misconduct. The policy also refers to the student discipline policy.

**Check out more about our IB program through our school website!

PTO COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT NIGHT ON MONDAY, NOVEMBER 13th at 6pm

Do you shrug when your friends and family ask you what it means that Riffenburgh is an IB (International Baccalaureate) school? Are you wondering whether your child should continue the IB program into middle school and high school? Did you even know what "IB" stands for? Don't worry...you're not alone!

Jason Malone (Riffenburgh's IB Coordinator) is new to Riffenburgh...but has been in the IB world for years and he has a wealth of knowledge. Jason will talk about what it means to be an IB school and what sets Riffenburgh apart as an IB school. It will be hard to pack everything into one hour, but you will learn so much! PLUS...we'll provide free pizza to everyone and free childcare to school-aged children.

Please RSVP so that we can make sure we have enough pizza and childcare providers:
