Today was a rest day with a very slow start which included a relaxed and enjoyable hotel breakfast. Its going to be hard convincing Jenny to leave our lux hotel tomorrow and trade it for more days on the trail with its typical economy two star hotels, more in keeping with the basics of Camino life!
We couldn’t leave town without a visit to the Guggenheim Bilbao and we’d booked ourselves on a walking tour which at the last minute, got cancelled. No complaints from us as the thought of another 2 hrs on our feet didn’t seem to have much appeal for us today.
