Mental Health Matters

What is Mental Health?

Mental health is a dynamic state of emotional, psychological, and social well-being. College is a time of significant growth and exploration, and it's natural to experience stress during this period. However, it's important to develop healthy coping strategies to manage stress and prevent potential mental and physical health issues.

UTSA offers a variety of resources to support students in navigating and addressing mental health challenges throughout their college journey. These resources can help students maintain their well-being and thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

In addition, UTSA provides mental health resources for staff and faculty to support their well-being as they navigate the demands of their roles and contribute to a positive campus environment.
