Your efforts have a real impact and we hope you enjoy spreading awareness by energizing your community. Let's go team!
Nearly every minute, a child dies from malaria - a deadly, yet preventable disease. United to Beat Malaria is a global grassroots campaign that raises funds in support of the global fight against malaria. Since 2006, with the help of our partners and supporters, we have raised over $79 million to help critical malaria tools to families in need. Working together, we have protected more than 42 million people in 61 countries from malaria through the distribution of bed nets and other crucial malaria interventions, such as rapid diagnostic testing and IRS, and training of healthcare workers.
Every night, families are at risk of malaria-transmitting mosquitos. Every day, you can help protect them with nets and other critical tools.

Setting up your Fundraiser
- Establish the type of fundraiser you would like to host. Are you doing a social media and email campaign? Are you hosting a bake sale? Are you donating your birthday?
- Set a goal: It should be reasonable, yet ambitious! Are you thinking of a goal in terms of number of nets, lives protected?

Network
- Be creative in establishing your networking plan for fundraising.
- Draft potential donor list: Think of immediate connections e.g., family, friends, neighbors. After drafting your list, group your donors by communication method. - Social Media: Instagram is a great tool to interact and update donors. Make sure to engage with participants who are active on your social media platforms.

- Follow-up: Check in with donors during and after your fundraising effort to personally thank them. Please use our Communication Template for donor support!
