SIGHTS AND SOUNDS

THE BOYS FROM OKLAHOMA

Boone Pickens Stadium was transformed into a world-class concert venue when Cross Canadian Ragweed and Turnpike Troubadours headlined the sold out, four-day The Boys from Oklahoma concert event.

SECTION 2-NO SHIRTY-1

Oklahoma State football fans ignited a national craze by taking off their shirts and waving them over their heads during a football game against Houston on October 11. Fans from stadiums from coast to coast mimicked the action in the coming weeks.

It started when Callista Bradford dared her brother, Trent Eaton, to go to an empty section 231, take his shirt off and wave it over his head. He did so, and many others followed, sparking one of the national trends of the college football season.
