Hello everyone and welcome to our last newsletter of the term and my last one as Headteacher. Its been an incredibly emotional day for me today. This school has been my life for over a quarter of a century and I can't quite believe that I wont be here to see you all again in January. Thank you for all of your incredible support, not just in the the last 3 years but the whole of my time here. It will leave a large hole in part of my life. I would like to mention how incredible my staff have been during this uncertain and challenging time for the school. They are absolutely remarkable and their professional standards are exemplary. We would like to welcome Miss Jessica Bedford who will be taking over from Miss Parry in January. Also Miss Berlin Ratcliffe will be re-joining us to cover some classes during the week. This makes the staff team even stronger. Finally I would just like to wish you and your families Merry Christmas and a fantastic New Year.

What a lovely last week of term we have had in Dosbarth Tegid! The children have been busy making gingerbread houses out of biscuits and sweets they had lots of fun doing this and they tasted yummy!
We have been doing lots of Christmas activities in class and enjoyed our party day playing lots of games and even had a treasure hunt outside! It has been a lovely way to end my time at Saltney Ferry! It has been a pleasure teaching your children and I know each one of them will be going on to do amazing things! ✨Have a lovely Christmas everyone 🎅
We've had a super term in Brenig. Our friends have shown how much they've developed, learnt and shared their passion for discovering new learning. This week we've honed our skills in minecraft with challenges and builds.

Wrexham University
We were so pleased to welcome the research team from Wrexham to share their ideas and listen to learners in Gwynant about their school farm. We'll have more information to share with you in the new year.
Financial Education
Greatly appreciative of your support in purchasing from our pupil stalls and wooden decorations. The Rudolph and Grinch sales will go toward projects in the forest in the new year. Diolch o galon! New project starting in the new year that we'll roll throughout school on financial education.

05/01/26 - First day back woohoo! 13/2 - Last day of half term. Dosbarth Brenig class assembly. Parents of pupils in our class are warmly invited to join us at 9:30 in the hall. 13/2 - GoNoodleathon in the afternoon.
