This week we used our persuasive devices to write a speech to persuade the local council in Mallorca to save the coral. We all took on the role of different members of the community.
We had people from the fishing community, pharmaceuticals, local school children, government workers, Eco warriors and local hotel owners. All explained how coral bleaching effected them and what they wanted to see happen.
The local council then decided whether the proposals should take place or not. Our summarises helped explain what had been discussed and our talk detectives also gave feedback to our speakers based on our key objectives.
