Coffee with STMS Principal Boggs
Current 5th & 6th grade parents, join Sonoran Trails Middle School Principal, Mr. Boggs for coffee and conversation on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 from 9:15-10:45 am in the Sonoran Trails Middle School Library. We invite you to join Mr. Boggs to chat about his vision for Sonoran Trails Middle School in an informal setting. This is the first of many opportunities throughout the Spring to visit Sonoran Trails.
While this event is open to all parents of current 5th and 6th graders, the Governing Board will not vote on the proposal to move 6th grade to the middle school until January 28. We are providing these opportunities to reduce anxiety about middle school whether your child is attending STMS in August, 2025 or August, 2026.

Understanding Drug Trends in Your Community
CCUSD is pleased to invite you to an important presentation on Tuesday, January 21st where national speaker Officer Jermaine Galloway, aka “The Tall Cop” will present his insights of our community and how we can keep our community safe and informed in regards to drugs and alcohol. Officer Galloway will share data from our own community and cover topics on how to recognize signs of substance use, prevention strategies, and resources available for support.
We believe that coming together as a community, we can make a significant impact in addressing this critical issue. Your participation and engagement are vital to our shared efforts. We hope you will join us in learning and discussing how we can protect our loved ones and strengthen our community. We will provide food and drinks prior to the presentation as well. Please RSVP by Wednesday, January 8th. You can use the QR code in the flyer or click on the link below.
