Obviously you need both sides of the ball to be outstanding if you want to win a Super Bowl. But this year everything is different. Over the last 5 Super Bowls more Offensive-Minded teams have won it all, rather than defense. But this year the two #1 seeds are the Broncos and Seahawks two of the best defenses in the league, who still have good offenses, but their defense 1000% overshadows the offense. The Seahawks and Broncos both are top 10 in least yards allowed, and pass yards allowed. Mike Macdonald is a Defensive minded coach, Sean Payton not so much, but the Broncos Defensive Coordinator is one of the leads to be a head coach soon. The Texans have the best defenses in the league allowing the least league yards and they are led by Demeco Ryan’s their Head Coach. The Texans would never be in this spot without their defense. Stroud has been playing terrible, their Offensive-Line Sucks, so that’s why the Texans aren’t in line to win the division. Take the Leigon of Boom as an example of a team who can stop top league QBs, and that’s how they won those super bowls. This year the Texans are that team. They forced Mahomes to throw 3 Interceptions, and under 200 yards, they forced Josh Allen to throw 2 Interceptions, They forced Trevor Lawrence who is a top 10 QB right now, to have only 158 yards, and a interception, and Bo Nix to have 170 and a pick. The Texans defense is so good they should make a postseason push, but their offense is so bad I don’t know if they can. That just proves maybe offense is more valuable. This is the year for a defensive team to win the Super Bowl, as Burrow, Lamar, and Mahomes are out of the playoffs. This year A Defensive Team WILL WIN the Super Bowl.
