2. Create Your Syllabus
Use Simple Syllabus
Simple Syllabus makes it easy to ensure you include all state and university-required content in your syllabus. This tool is required in all undergraduate courses. To explore tips for getting started in Canvas, visit UTSA Digital Learning - Simple Syllabus.

Use Follett Discover directly from within your Canvas course. If you don't see Follett Discover in your course menu, go to "Settings" at the bottom of the menu, then choose the "Navigation" tab at the top. Move the Follett Discover link to the top area to make the link accessible. You can also contact the bookstore directly.
Using Library Resources?
Place your course reading materials, including books, eBooks, journal articles, websites, videos, and podcasts on reserve using the Library Reading List tool in Canvas.
Considering OER?
Don't forget about Open Education Resources (OER) options. You can find many free options for students through the UTSA library OER site or at the OER Commons.
