Welcome to our Autumn Term 2025 newsletter

Cewch yma'r holl wybodaeth ar gyfer y tymor hwn, a mwy! Plis darllenwch y cylchlythyr i gyd drwy sgrolio at waelod y ddogfen. Mi fydd y cylchlythyr yn cael ei ddiweddaru yn aml, a gwnewn pob ymdrech i'ch hysbysu o unrhyw newidiadau drwy My School Ap.

The information in this newsletter is updated frequently, including event dates. Details of sports competitions and outings will be sent to you via My School App, as we organize them during the year.

My School Ap

Ein prif ddull o gyfathrebu yw trwy My School Ap. Sicrhewch eich bod wedi lawrlwytho'r ap i'ch dyfais a'ch bod wedi rhoi'r gosodiadau i dderbyn negeseuon ar gyfer dosbarth eich plentyn. Rydym yn ysgol di-bapur. Mae My School App yn hawdd i'w lawrlwytho trwy Google Play Store ar gyfer dyfeisiau Android a'r Apple App Store ar gyfer dyfeisiau iOS.

Our main method of communication is through the My School App. Make sure you have downloaded the app to your device and that you have set the settings to receive messages for your child's class. My School App is easy to download via Google Play Store for Android devices and the Apple App Store for iOS devices.

We are a cashless school, that accepts payments via ParentPay. Every family has a ParentPay account. A reminder of your login details can be received from the school office where we will be happy to help you. Please call 01267 246714 for support with logging in details or issues with your account.

Presenoldeb / Attendance

Targed yr ysgol ar gyfer presenoldeb yw 93%. Mae'n hanfodol eich bod yn cysylltu gyda'r ysgol i'n hysbysu o unrhyw absenoldebau cyn 9:30 y bore, neu mae'n bosib na awdurdodir yr absenoldeb. Mi fydd yr ysgol yn penderfynnu a fydd yr absenoldeb yn cael ei awdurdodi ai peidio. Ni ellir rhoi marc presenoldeb i blentyn os nad ydynt yn yr ysgol, beth bynnag yw'r rheswm dros yr absenoldeb. Rhaid gwneud cais am wyliau yn ffurfiol, o flaen llaw, gan ddefnyddio'r ffurflen swyddogol isod. Ni fydd yr ysgol yn awdurdodi gwyliau (oni bai bod amgylchiadau esgusodol), os yw canran presenoldeb eich plentyn yn is na 93%. Mi fydd bob plentyn sy'n cyrraedd yr ysgol ar ôl 9:10yb yn cael ei farcio 'yn hwyr'

The school's target for attendance is 93%. It is essential that you contact the school to inform us of any absences before 9:30 in the morning, otherwise the absence may be recorded as unauthorised. The school will decide whether absences are authorised or not. An attendance mark cannot be given to a child if they are not physically at school, whatever the reason for the absence. Holidays must be formally requested, in advance, using the official form below. The school will not authorise holidays (unless there are extenuating circumstances) if your child's attendance percentage is below 93%. All pupils arriving at school after 9:10am will be marked as 'late' on the register.

Meddyginiaeth / Medication

Nid oes disgwyl i'r ysgol i weinyddu meddyginiaeth i'ch plentyn yn ystod oriau ysgol, ond rydym yn hapus i wneud hyn, yn y mwyafrif o achosion, os bydd y ffurflen feddygol swyddogol wedi ei chwblhau yn gywir. Gallwch lawrlwytho copi o'r ffurflen isod neu ofyn am gopi o'r ysgol.

The school is not expected to administer medication to your child during school hours, but we are happy to do this, in the majority of cases, if the official medical form has been completed correctly. You can download a copy of the form below or request a copy from the school.

Y Clwb Brecwast / The Breakfast Club

Mae croeso cynnes iawn i ddysgwyr o'r meithrin i flwyddyn 6 fynychu'r Clwb Brecwast. Mae'r clwb yn agor am 8 o'r gloch ac yn cau yn brydlon am 8:30yb. Rhaid i'r ffurflen gofrestru isod gael ei chwblhau cyn sesiwn gyntaf eich plentyn a chyfrifoldeb rhieni a gofalwyr yw ein hysbysebu am alergeddau neu anoddefiadau bwyd.

All learners from the Nursery class to year 6 are very welcome to attend the Breakfast Club. The club opens at 8am and doors close promptly at 8:30am. The registration form below must be completed before your child's first session and it is the responsibility of parents and carers to inform us of food allergies or intolerances.

Clwb Gofal Bydis Brynsierfel / Bydis Brynsierfel After School Club

Clybiau ar ôl ysgol am £1 / After school clubs for £1

Neges bwysig i flynyddoedd 5 a 6 : Nodwch fod rhaid i rieni a gofalwyr dysgwyr o flynyddoedd 5 a 6 i arwyddo ffurflen ganiatad, os y dymunent i'w plant gerdded adref o'r clybiau ar ôl ysgol. Mae'r ffurflen hon yn ychwangeol at y ffurflen sy'n rhaid eu harwyddo ar gyfer cerded adref ar ddiwedd y diwrnod ysgol.

Important message for years 5 and 6: Please note that parents and carers of learners from years 5 and 6 must sign a permission form, if they wish their children to walk home from the after school clubs. This form is different from the form that must be signed for walking home at the end of the school day.
