Math
Fraction skittles
The children are recognizing a whole to a part, 1/2, 1/3, 1/4. These lessons teach the child that the whole can be broken up into equal parts.
Number writing
The child learns to read and write up to 100.
Language
Metal insets
This activity is more advanced and is designed for a child who has developed metal insets skills. She creates intricate designs here.
Long Vowels
The child works with words where two vowels appear in a word or syllable and one of them is final "e". The first vowel usually is long and the final "e" is silent.
Science
Insects - butterfly
The child is working with Nomenclature cards to learn the parts of the butterfly.
Making a book of the parts of a butterfly
Lifecycle of a butterfly
The child learns the stages of a lifecycle of a butterfly.
Birds
The child learns the names of birds using nomenclature cards. The aim of this work is to develop an appreciation for birds.
Parts of the bird
This group of children learn to read and write the body parts of a bird.

Birthday Celebration
The child walks along the ellipse around the sun for the years of the child's life and gives the child both an initial impression of the earth/sun relationship an of the passage of the years form his birth to the present day. It is both a geography and a history lesson.
