Dear families,
I hope that this newsletter finds you well! We have a lot of exciting events during the next few weeks and we look forward to celebrating this Christmas time with our community.
Thank you!
In recent weeks, several parents have given up a considerable amount of time to support the school as we work to continue to improve our facilities and provision. I wanted to extend a heartfelt thanks to these parents. The community support which the school receives is a huge positive and I am very grateful for this support.
As ever, if there is anything that I can do to help, please don't hesitate to contact me on Williamsr1688@hwbcymru.net
Kind regards,
Mr. Williams
Reminder - We are closed on Monday for a Cluster Inset Day.
Christmas Dinner - Wednesday 13th December
School Clubs
Next week will be our final week of school clubs. On the week beginning 4th December no clubs will be held. We have had an excellent run of activities this term and we will re-start our clubs in the spring.
Friends of the School Bingo!
Parkrun Schools - 9th December
On Saturday 9th December we are going to return for our second parkrun takeover event of the year. There will be prizes available for the most 'Christmassy' running attire, and there will be tea and coffee at the finish! We look forward to seeing you there!
Christmas Concert Information
Early Years & LRC1 will be holding their Christmas Concert on Tuesday 12th December at 14:30pm. Tickets will be on sale from class for £1.50. Initially, we are limiting tickets to two per child.
Years 1-6
Years one, two, three and LRC2 are going to be working together for an event on Wednesday 20th December. Years four, five, and six are going to be working together for an event on Thursday 21st December. Initially, we are limiting tickets to two per child.
I have been asked to set up a new school facebook to keep parents updated and share information. Before I joined the school, a facebook account had been established to share information. Unfortunately, the staff member who ran the page has now left the school.
Please note, the facebook page will only be used to share information and to celebrate events and achievements. The facebook page is linked to our school mobile telephone. Staff members will not spend time reading and responding to comments. If you have a query or question, please telephone the school office.
Lines of communication:
- School Seesaw Account. Seesaw allows us to share any information/letters that we need parents to see. Whilst I understand that Seesaw isn't perfect, it is a free software and allows us to avoid an expensive subscription.
- Twitter and Facebook. We will use these pages as much as possible to share updates.
- Notice Board. We have a notice board located at the front of the school which is updated every Monday.
