Morning Drop-off Reminder

If you need to walk your child(ren) into morning care, please take a moment to park in a designated parking spot rather than stopping in the carline. This helps keep traffic moving smoothly so other families, as well as our faculty and staff, can get to their parking spots and morning duties on time.

Thank you for working with us to keep morning drop-off safe, smooth, and stress-free for everyone! đź’›

PRINCIPAL'S DESK

Dear Bluejay Family,

Today’s Gospel challenges us to count the cost of discipleship: to set aside our possessions, take up our crosses, and follow Jesus. In the midst of our daily busyness—school, work, activities, and family responsibilities—it is easy for faith to slip into the background. Yet Jesus reminds us that true discipleship means putting Him first and letting everything else flow from that choice.

At St. Cecilia, this is what we mean by missionary discipleship: keeping Christ at the center, teaching our children (and reminding ourselves) to pause, pray, and seek His will, even on the busiest days. When we place Jesus first, our crosses feel lighter, and our daily tasks find deeper meaning.

As we begin a new week, let’s each look for one small way to practice this kind of discipleship—whether it’s choosing prayer before busyness, offering patience in a difficult moment, or encouraging our children to share God’s love with a classmate.

Grace & Peace,

Erin B. Henry

Principal
