This week, Year 4 have been busy designing and creating their very own slingshot cars in DT! Using materials such as axles, wheels, straws and elastic bands, the children carefully measured their components before using specialist equipment to saw the materials to equal lengths. They then constructed their cars and showed fantastic teamwork, problem-solving and design skills.
The children who go to Science Club enjoyed their free time in the Science Centre on Tuesday!
In Spanish, the children have used their knowledge about fruit (along with some new cooking verbs) to create their own fruit salads!
In English, the children have been focusing on writing dialogue between characters from our class reader, ensuring they use inverted commas accurately.
