Kamille Kassees Beittel '85 & Craig Beittel '82
"Here's the Scoop! An ice cream date in the Fall of 1982 led us to the altar in June, 1986. Not only was Yonnie Kaufman my field hockey coach, she was also cupid in disguise! In the summer of 1982, our Elizabethtown College Field Hockey team traveled to England. Yonnie shared her pictures from that fabulous trip with fellow Elizabethtown College alumnus Craig Beittel '82. Yonnie pointed Craig in my direction. At the end of September 1982, I saw him sitting on the bleachers at Millersville University on my birthday to watch our field hockey game. That next day, I found a birthday card in my mailbox that contained a coupon for an ice cream date from "a fellow Lancastrian, Craig Beittel." Shortly after, that date took place at Ridge View Dairy in Elizabethtown. Today, 42 years later, we enjoy our dates with some added "sprinkles," our two kids, their spouses and our four grandchildren!" - Kamille Kassees Beittel '85

Will Schnaue '03 & Shana Schnaue '05
"My husband, Will Schnaue '03, and I met in January 2002. Will had come to Schlosser to meet up with a friend who was back from a semester abroad and that he had previously dated. I had made friends with that girl (and are still friends today) and were hanging out in her room when Will came to see her. Instead of getting back together with her, he met me and asked me out. Within a week of talking and hanging out, we were officially dating. Will proposed in February 2002, and we got married in June 2005, a month after I graduated from Etown. We've been happily married for almost 19 years!" - Shana Schnaue '05
Franco Moi '12 & Stephanie Moi, '12
"My husband and I met during move in senior year at Etown. We were neighbors in the Quads, B4 and B3. The school let upperclassmen move in a day early that year because a hurricane was going to hit the next day, so we spent the evening hanging out and settling in. Franco and his roommates came over to meet me and my roommates since we would all be neighbors that year. We talked a lot that night, and continued to see each other through that first semester, but nothing was “official.” We went home for the winter break and said we would meet up after Christmas. We made it only two days before I headed to his family’s home to visit and meet them. We (finally) started officially dating Christmas Eve of 2011. We graduated in May, 2012 and moved to Houston for jobs. In 2015, we moved to northern Virginia when Franco got a new position, and that Christmas Eve, we got engaged in front of the LOVE sign in Philadelphia. We got married in August 2017, added my horse to the family in 2021 and our new dog in 2022. This year, we will welcome our first little Blue Jay baby! Etown gave both of us so much. We are so thankful not only for the educations that enabled us to pursue careers we love, but it also gave us each other and set us on our path together. For that, we will be forever grateful to the place where we met and fell in love!" - Stephanie Moi '12

Following Brandon's footsteps, I became a student manager at the Jay's Nest! We eventually moved in together, graduated, got married in 2011, and now have three beautiful little girls at home." - Nikkole Imler '10
