Happy New Year and Welcome Back
We were delighted to welcome back the Kent College community this week for the start of the Spring Term. It was wonderful to see new faces in both the Prep and Senior Schools, as well as amongst the teaching staff. We are sure all of our new joiners will be given a very warm KC welcome.
This term promises many exciting things ahead including trips, visits, speakers, workshops, the upcoming production, The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, for which rehearsals are well underway and the set build is beginning shortly, sporting fixtures and competitions and lots more.
Boarding Community
We were also delighted to welcome back our boarding community. We have some fantastic activities this term including bowling, a day trip to London, a trip to the theatre in Tunbridge Wells, as well as celebrating Chinese New Year later this month.
Opening of the Hub
In Wednesday's assembly, Miss Handford and Mrs Payne announced the opening of a fantastic new communal space for students to use at break and lunchtime. The old Drama storeroom has been transformed into two spaces, which will be called The Hub, with comfortable seating at the heart of the school site.
