The 2025 Landmark Conference Men's Golf Championship will be hosted at the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort on April 26-27.
Day one of the championships will feature 36 holes of competition using a traditional-style start. The order of play on day two will be determined by placement on the leaderboard after the first round.
Admission to the Landmark Men's Golf Championship is free. Spectators must remain at least 15 yards from participants and stay on cart paths and in roughs. No communication shall be permitted between spectators and participants while a round is underway.
Spectators with a medical need that warrants the use of a golf cart may rent one at the Pro Shop. Carts will be available on a first come first serve basis. Carts must remain on the path at all times. If a spectator does not adhere to the cart path rules, they will be asked to leave the facility. In all cases, Shawnee Inn will authorize the use of carts during the Landmark Golf Championship and determine the appropriate number of carts that may be out on the course at one time

About Shawnee Golf
Located on the grounds of The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort, the Shawnee Island Course is the crown jewel of the property. It was completed in 1910, a year before the Inn was built, and is A.W. Tillinghast’s first-ever design.
The course has tee-to-green irrigation, ensuring the best Pocono golf conditions possible.
2024 Recap
The University of Scranton men’s golf team delivered a strong back-nine performance to surge past Drew and secure the program’s second consecutive Landmark Conference title—and sixth overall—at the 2024 Landmark Conference Men’s Golf Championship.
The Royals were led by Danny Harding, who turned in an even-par 72 in the final round to finish fourth individually with a two-day total of 145 (+1). First-year standout Juliano Nieto matched Harding’s 72 on Sunday, closing with a 148 (+4) to finish inside the top 10 and earn Landmark Conference Rookie of the Year honors.
Scranton’s depth and composure in the final round proved to be the difference, as the Royals continued to build on their tradition of success in Landmark men’s golf.
Fall Preview Recap
In October, Landmark Conference men’s golf programs gathered for the annual fall preview—an early-season showcase that allows teams to get a first look at the championship course ahead of the spring finale in April.
The University of Scranton set the pace with a team score of 610 (+34) to claim the fall title, finishing five strokes ahead of runner-up Drew University (615). Elizabethtown College placed third with a 621 (+45) over the two-day event.
Individually, Moravian University senior Jason Koch earned medalist honors, posting a 146 for the tournament. Koch fired a 75 in the opening round before closing strong with a 71 on day two to lead the field.
Championship Poll
The University of Scranton, two-time defending champion, leads the Landmark Conference Men’s Golf Preseason Poll with 76 points and four first-place votes. Drew University follows closely in second place with 67 points and four first-place votes of its own.
Moravian College ranks third with 59 points, including two first-place votes, while Catholic University sits in fourth with 54 points. Elizabethtown College is right behind, claiming fifth with 53 points.
Goucher College ranks sixth with 42 points, followed by Juniata College in seventh with 35 points. Susquehanna University occupies the eighth spot with 30 points, while Lycoming College comes in ninth with 21 points. Wilkes University rounds out the poll in tenth place with 13 points.
Catholic University

Catholic University is eyeing a return to the top of the Landmark Conference men’s golf leaderboard, looking to capture its first championship since 2021. With a roster well-acquainted with the Shawnee course, the Cardinals will rely on that familiarity to make a strong push at this year’s spring championship.
During the fall preview, Catholic showed signs of resilience after a slow start, improving its opening round score by 12 strokes on Saturday to climb into fifth place. The Cardinals finished the event with a team total of 638 (+62), edging out Goucher by two strokes and Juniata by three.
Senior Darren Horton led the way individually, carding rounds of 79 and 74 to tie for sixth on the leaderboard and pace Catholic’s lineup.
Drew University

Under the direction of first-year head coach Lucas Artigliere, Drew University enters the Landmark Conference Men’s Golf Championship with its sights set on reclaiming the title. Since winning the crown in 2022, the Rangers have come painfully close in back-to-back seasons, finishing just two strokes behind Scranton in both 2023 and 2024.
Leading the charge is standout Elliot Parker, the reigning conference medalist and the first golfer in program history—men’s or women’s—to qualify for the NCAA Division III Championship as an individual. Parker, who placed third at the fall preview, has continued his strong play throughout the year.
Drew’s lineup is one of the deepest in the conference, featuring nine players who have recorded rounds under 75 this season. The Rangers bring momentum into the championship with a dominant 2023–24 campaign that includes seven first-place finishes and four team titles.
Elizabethtown College

Elizabethtown heads into championship weekend with confidence after a strong showing at the Fall Preview, where the Blue Jays placed third overall. Senior Chris Kilduff led the way, climbing the leaderboard with a second-round 75 to finish runner-up with a two-day total of 149. John Harrison also delivered a solid performance, securing fifth place with a 152 after shooting 80 in the final round.
Kilduff, who became Elizabethtown’s first Landmark All-Conference selection since 2021, anchors a determined Blue Jay squad. He enters the championship holding the team’s season-low round of 76 and will look to set the tone as Elizabethtown eyes another all-conference finish.
Goucher College

A historically successful program with three Landmark titles, Goucher College is aiming to return to championship form this spring. After a sixth-place finish at the Fall Preview, where the Gophers posted a team score of 640, the squad is motivated to deliver a stronger showing when it matters most.
Leading the charge is Riley Ruby, who has emerged as a key performer this season. Ruby played a central role in Goucher’s recent victory at the Catholic Cardinals Classic, opening the tournament with a 3-under 69—matching the program’s record for lowest score relative to par over 18 holes. He followed that effort with a 74 to finish at 1-under (143) for the event.
With Ruby setting the pace and the program’s championship pedigree behind them, the Gophers are poised to contend once again at the Landmark Conference Championship.
Juniata College

In his second season at the helm, head coach Robb Ritchey is focused on leading Juniata College to a stronger finish at the 2025 Landmark Conference Men’s Golf Championship. After a seventh-place finish with a team score of 631 at last year’s championship, the Eagles are determined to improve and contend for the title.
Juniata also placed seventh at the Fall Preview, posting a team total of 641. With a roster full of talent and experience, the Eagles are aiming to build on last season’s performances and make a push for a higher standing at this year’s championship.
Lycoming College

After a season of acclimating to the conference, Lycoming College is ready to make its mark at the 2025 Landmark Conference Men’s Golf Championship. Under the experienced leadership of Head Coach Jamie Spencer, who is in his 18th year at the helm, the Warriors are focused on improving and competing for a strong finish.
Although Lycoming didn’t have enough participants to field a team score at the Fall Preview, senior Will Eberz led the way individually with a two-day total of 159, earning a spot in the top 20. Mikey Fry, another key contributor, posted a 176 for the event. Eberz, who is averaging 80.77 this season, will look to continue his strong play, while Fry, averaging 89, will aim for a breakout performance as the Warriors compete for a solid finish.
Moravian University

Moravian College enters the 2025 Landmark Conference Men’s Golf Championship with momentum after a fourth-place finish at the Fall Preview, where the Greyhounds finished 12 strokes ahead of Catholic. Leading the way for Moravian is Jason Koch, who captured medalist honors with a two-day total of 146, showcasing his strong form heading into the championship.
The Greyhounds also have a recent history of success at the conference championship, having finished fifth last year with a team score of 609—just five strokes behind Goucher College. Moravian will look to continue its solid play and challenge for a higher finish at this year's event.
University of Scranton

The University of Scranton men’s golf program is focused on claiming its third consecutive Landmark Conference title at the 2025 championship. Under the leadership of veteran head coach Ed Karpovich, who earned his second straight Coaching Staff of the Year honors after guiding the Royals to their sixth conference title, Scranton is poised to continue its dominance.
Key performers for the Royals at the Fall Preview include Danny Harding, Liam Burtis, Jack Novis, and Gehrig Shannon, who all tied for eighth with a two-day score of 155. Juliano Nieto, the reigning Landmark Conference Men’s Golf Rookie of the Year, finished fourth individually with a score of 151 (+7) and will look to play a pivotal role as Scranton pursues another title.
Susquehanna University

With a blend of returning talent and promising newcomers, Susquehanna University is determined to improve on its performance at the 2025 Landmark Conference Men’s Golf Championship. After finishing in last place at the Fall Preview with a team score of 653, the River Hawks are eager to deliver a more competitive showing at the championship.
David Birmingham led Susquehanna at the Fall Preview, securing a 22nd-place finish with a score of 160, while Eli Mumau finished just one stroke behind for a 26th-place finish at 161. Additionally, Charlie Betz, who boasts an average of 81.8 this season, will look to make an impact as the River Hawks aim for a stronger finish. The combination of seasoned golfers and new talent positions Susquehanna for a better performance as they head into the championship weekend.
Wilkes University
- Head Coach: Guy Rothery (16th Season)
- Team Titles: 0
- Medalist: 0
After a successful debut season in the Landmark Conference, Wilkes University is ready to make its mark at the 2025 Landmark Conference Men’s Golf Championship. The Colonels finished eighth at last year’s championship with a team score of 640, and they are looking to improve upon that performance.
While the team did not have enough players to field a team score at the Fall Preview, Wilkes shot a combined total of 610, showing promise heading into the spring. Leading the charge for the Colonels is Cole Jungwirth, who posted a two-day total of 159 at the Fall Preview, finishing 20th overall. Jungwirth will be a key contributor as Wilkes looks to climb the standings at this year’s championship.
