CX is back and there’s so much to look forward to!
Cyclocross team news
We have started to defrost our CX specialists who have been on ice for the summer. Matt Crouch and Rich Edge have already been out, and Rob and Tim are planning on getting back to racing soon. Oli Akers is yet to debut in GrityKit but that should be only a matter of hours away...
Sadly we will be saying farewell to Lottie. Lottie and the Lottie-posse have been fabulous teamies, ambassadors and friends. An opportunity has come up for her to join Pine Sport, Ric Jamieson’s (former BC MTB boss) team. This will give her the support she needs to build her international career. We wish you every success Lottie, and look forward to hearing all about it.
The end of the MTB season saw Nicky get a selection for the elite Worlds Marathon squad and pulled out an awesome ride finishing strong and well ahead of most of the other GB women. For the full review of the MTB season check out the full YouTube video.

CX season key races:
3 Peaks Cyclocross
After a podium in the parent daughter last year Neil and Lotta are racing again in the epic peaks on 28th September. They will need a support crew… if anyone can help, they would be immensely grateful and Lotta might even bake you some cookies.
National Trophy and Champs:
Priority races are, as always, the National Trophy and Champs. Hopefully all of the CX squad will be able to race the series. Even if you’re not racing this winter, it would be great to see you at the side of the tape 👍.
The National Trophy and Champs are where the GrityPit are at their best, and absolutely vital. We will have the regular RACENOTES link to keep updated. Advance requests for help on WhatsApp keeps us informed… if you need help speak up. Waiting until the day of the race is too late 🤪… but sometimes emergencies happen! The GrityPit is there for you to help with and be helped by. We will need people to help at the start and finish, in the pits, and provide motivation, support, (and treats). We have a fantastic set of pit helpers - thanks!
We have contenders for top placings across many categories and could be in with a chance for the Team Competitions at National Championships. Neil will get a spreadsheet going nearer the time to weigh up the competition and see whether we might need to target specific races to qualify point scores 📊.
Regional… and International
Let us know where you’re racing and give a shout out if you happen to see our teamies at events. Wear the kit with pride and let us know how you get on.
We already know of some plans for overseas trips. If you’re planning a trip to the continent let us know… you might find yourself a pit crew and at least we will shout support at the TV.

Kit and Partners
New kit drop is expected any day. We are also working on a few new products that people have asked for so watch out for those!
Last year we partnered with Ekoi and that has come to an end, due to changes at their global headquarters. We will be looking to bring in an alternative for 2026.
