Principal Message

Dear Families, As we come to the close of another school year, I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to all of our students, families, and staff. As I prepare to leave this incredible school community after eight years, my heart is filled with appreciation. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your lives and for entrusting me with the privilege of supporting your children on their educational journeys. The memories we have created together, the milestones we have celebrated, and the relationships we have built will remain with me always. Your children have taught me as much as I have hoped to teach them. Their kindness, resilience, laughter, faith, curiosity, and joy have left a lasting impact on me, and I will treasure my time here forever. It has been an honour to walk alongside you through moments of growth, challenge, achievement, and celebration. This school will always hold a special place in my heart. As summer begins, I wish each of you a season filled with relaxation, adventure, laughter, and joy. May your days be filled with opportunities to make wonderful memories with family and friends, and may you return refreshed and ready for all that lies ahead. Thank you for eight unforgettable years. I will carry this community with me wherever I go. With gratitude and blessings, Mrs. Carr-Jeschke

Father's Day

As we approach Father’s Day on Sunday, we recognize that this day may bring a range of emotions and experiences for members of our school community. For many, Father’s Day is a time to celebrate fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, guardians, mentors, and other caring individuals who provide guidance, support, and love. We are grateful for the positive impact these important figures have in the lives of our students. As a Catholic school community, we hold all families in our prayers and extend our care and compassion to those for whom this occasion may be bittersweet. May we continue to support one another with understanding, kindness, and respect. We wish peace and blessings to all members of our community this Father’s Day weekend.

National Indigenous Peoples Day

On June 21, we recognize National Indigenous Peoples Day, a time to celebrate and honour the rich histories, cultures, languages, traditions, and contributions of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit Peoples across Canada. As a Catholic school community, we are called to walk together in the spirit of reconciliation, recognizing the dignity of every person and fostering communities rooted in justice, compassion, and hope. We acknowledge that we live, learn, and work on Treaty 6 Territory, the traditional lands of many First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples whose stewardship of this land continues today. We encourage our students and families to take time to learn about and celebrate Indigenous cultures, stories, and traditions, and to reflect on how each of us can contribute to a more respectful and inclusive future. May we continue to listen, learn, and walk together in the spirit of understanding and reconciliation.

School Council Corner

Please see the following message on behalf of your SAC Executive: The end of another school year is here. It always comes faster than we expect, and it always gives us a moment to pause and look around with gratitude. At St. Paul, we are truly blessed. Blessed with staff who show up every day with care and commitment. Blessed with families who support, volunteer, and stay connected. And blessed with students who remind us, in big and small ways, why it all matters. With the close of the year also comes change. We say goodbye to Mrs. Carr-Jeschke and Mrs. Lee, who are both moving on to new schools. Together, they have given more than 16 years of service to St. Paul. Their impact on students and this community will stay with us, and we thank them deeply for all they have given. As we head into summer, we also look ahead. School Council is one of the many ways parents and guardians can be part of this community. No experience is required. It is as simple as showing up, listening, sharing ideas, and helping create opportunities for students. Whether attending meetings, supporting events, or offering your perspective, every contribution matters. If you have ever thought about getting involved, this is a great time to consider it. Thank you for being part of what makes St. Paul such a strong and caring community. Wishing you a safe and restful summer.

SAVE THE DATE!

Staff Parking Lot

A reminder that the staff parking lot is not to be used for student pick ups or drop offs. There are staff vehicles, as well as Division vehicles coming in and out of the lot, making it very unsafe for students. Please choose safety or convenience and drop students off in designated drop off areas: 96 Ave in front of the school or 145 Street to the west of the school. Thank you for your support with this!
