Who We Are
About Us
WZIS-FM is the student-run radio station at Indiana State University. We cover Terre Haute, IN and surrounding areas, broadcasting at a frequency of 90.7FM. WZIS-FM consists of a staff of 11 paid student directors and volunteer staff who oversee station operations.
Our Format
WZIS-FM plays a variety of music, such as today’s Top 40, Hip Hop, Classic Hits, & Alternative. In addition to the music, WZIS features news, talk, and specialty music shows. Additionally, WZIS broadcasts Indiana State's sports such as Baseball, Football, and Men's and Women's Basketball.
Our Audience
Despite being located on a college campus, WZIS-FM has a high audience of people from Terre Haute ages 18-45; however, our target audience is college students ages 18-24.
Mission
The mission of WZIS-FM is to foster educational and experiential learning opportunities for all Indiana State University students with interest in radio and media. WZIS-FM provides radio broadcast services to the Indiana State student body and the Terre Haute community.

We're Live, 24/7
WZIS-FM operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This includes when students are on break. Your sponsorship will be heard on an award winning radio station that has earned over 100 national and state awards. We've even been recognized as College Radio Station of the Year by the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System (IBS), and in 2025 were awarded 3rd place in the Signature Station contest by the Broadcast Education Association (BEA).

Sponsorship slots are made in-house, which means all you need to do is listen, provide feedback, and approve our work. Your sponsorship gives our students get the hands-on experience of underwriting and marketing with your contribution.

All packages include your logo being featured on our website along with occasional social media posts that mention you or your business.
General Sponsorships
WZIS-FM Sponsorship - $400/Month This sponsorship airs with regular programming, year-round. Your sponsorship is guaranteed to air 21 times a week.
Web/Social Media Sponsorship - $100/Month This sponsorship provides you with branded social media content with one of our specialty shows: Flashback Friday, Alt. Z, or Sports Extra. Each time we advertise our shows, your sponsorship will be seen.
Sports Sponsorships
Our Sports Sponsorships air during our peak listenership, giving you a prime-time sponsorship slot. WZIS-FM broadcasts all home games, with occassional away-game broadcasts. Your sponsorship is guaranteed to air 4 times per broadcast we do.
Sports Complete Sponsorship - $1000 (Mid-Season Rate) This sponsorship airs with all of our sports broadcasts: Men's and Women's Basketball, Football, and Baseball. Any mid-season sponsorship will begin immediately, while standard sponsorships will begin with our first sports broadcast of the next academic year. *Our standard rate is $2000, and begins at the beginning of each academic year.
Sports Select Sponsorships This sponsorship airs with a specific sport you choose: Men's or Women's Basketball, Football, and/or Baseball. Mid-season sponsorships will begin immediately, while standard sponsorships will begin with our first broadcast of the next sport season.
