Daylight Saving Time Ends Soon!
The end of 2024's DST is on Nov. 3, just one month away, but whatever happened to ending the madness for good?
In 2022, the U.S. Senate unanimously approved the Sunshine Protection Act, a bill to make daylight saving time permanent. However, it didn't make it all the way through the checks and balances.
For some, the only plus-side to the end of 2024 DST, is an extra hour of sleep but others will appreciate a little daylight for their early morning commute!

Executive Education and the University Club
Stephanie Lowe, Senior Director of Executive Education at Culverhouse, will speak to OCT staff about valuable opportunities available to us here on campus. The Executive Education programs are geared towards motivated professionals who would like to enhance their professional trajectory or embrace a major career shift. By completing the graduate-level and non-degree certificate programs anyone can enhance their career and expand their area of expertise.
Alexia Cadle, Membership Director, is joining us once more to share some exciting news for OCT staff who wish to become members of the University Club!
