Petkov's Photography pieces DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY FALL 2024

In this photography, I show a black and white reflection through my side car window, for me it represents the act of taking a picture of a moving object. I decided to take it after school after finding inspiration online and from a friend. I think that the black and white effects demonstrate how deep something can look. People can make up scenarios with my image such as, am I leaving somewhere for good? The black and white adds a sad effect

Here I present a total of 4 edited oil and water pictures that are made into a project collage. The pictures contain water and oil made with food dye. From dark blue to cyan to no food dye at all, the four pictures demonstrate the art of combination of oil and water. All though the two liquid substances don't mix, the effect that it gives shows a very beautiful illustration and scientific experience.

This project demonstrates the same details as my first, I take the rest of my oil and water photos and combined them into one. In this project however, I have a orange and green type of topic that is completely different from the other which shows basically two different aesthetics. At the bottom I wrote everything I needed for the class.

In this image, I show the difference between modern photography and older photography. The image also includes a duotone effect made with photoshop. I find it inspiring because the future holds up many new things.

In this oil and water image I present a mix of oil and water on flat surface. The only color in this art is orange which reminded me of the sun when I did it. I chose the color orange with food dye combinations.

In this oil and water image I show a mix of oil & water in a bowl. The color in this project is cyan/blue which reminded me of the ocean which is why i did it. I chose the color with food dye combinations.

This oil & water picture is different than the others. It represents a dark alleyway and light shutters out of the entrance as the image gets closer to the lens of the camera. It is dark green, white, and black.

In this image I present a digital illustration of me being copy and pasted into the windows 11 background and slowly fading away the more and more i get pasted into this photography.

This beautiful sunset image shows a beautiful scenery in the background with Colorado mountains in the background. This photo was taken while I was on a walk with my father.

This is a coral that I got from cuba, it means alot to me because I picked it out for my family and we’ve always had it as decoration in a glass bowl with many other corals and sea shells.

This was a quick but somewhat good photo I took at the fireplace in my house. It just shows an active fire and I think it looks pretty good because its pitch black in the dark and shows a cool art piece of fire.

This photo of a tree also demonstrates the beauty of the tree and colorado mountains in the background. I would say its one of my favorite pieces because it was one of my first and It just looks nice in general.

Here I combine 3 textured photos and make them into a tryptic with edits to every square of a photo added. Effects like inner shadows
