September 22nd ~ This morning we embark on a privately guided tour of Valencia
Accompanied by your experienced guide you will explore the historical and cultural city center. Get to know the most important sites of the city, in a journey of more than two thousand years of history: The City Hall, the Silk Market and Exchange, the Round Square, St. Catherin Church, Palace of Marquees of Two Waters, the Cathedral with its different doorways, the Royal Basilica of Our Lady of the Helpless, the Palau also known as the archbishop´s palace, as well as the Queen and Virgin squares, the Generalitat Palace (Parliament) and many more. You will then continue by the old river bed, that has been transformed in a 12 km long garden, known as Turia Gardens, to see The City of Arts and Sciences, a complex of buildings designed mainly by the famous architect/engineer S. Located in a 19th century building in the heart of Madrid, The Cooking Clubhouse has created a space that not only allows people to share their love for cooking and eating but also use it as a multipurpose space for various types of events. Carry out a one of a kind experience in a culturally rich environment that has many surprises along the way!
On today’s exciting culinary journey, you will meet at The Cooking Clubhouse, enjoy a cold Cava before the class, and pair up with a partner. Once at your cooking stations, you will find all the ingredients and tools needed for the recipe, alongside a delicious Iberian charcuterie board for snacking. Under the guidance of your bilingual instructors, you will begin your hands-on experience through the cooking process, recipe insights, and wine refills. Afterwards, you will proceed to the dining table, where you will savor appetizers and desserts created by the chefs and, of course, the dish you have prepared paired with five carefully selected wines.
