Extraordinary Project

Approximately 30 children from Years 2 - 5 took part in Voices for Life singing performance at the Wiltshire Music Centre last week. They had been rehearsing since September and we were so proud of them all. Well done super singers!

"My favorite song was Fernando because there was a big Ole! at the end. I thought it was going to be scary but I really enjoyed every minute."

"I really love performing and putting lots of expression into my singing. I learnt how to perform in front of lots of people without being scared."

"It was hard work but lots of fun and singing with the band was super cool!"

FOMPS

CHRISTMAS FAIR

Thank you to everyone who took part in the Christmas Tombola mufti-day today, and everyone who bought tickets for the advent calendar raffle - as well as our generous calendar donor! Tickets for the grand raffle, to be drawn at the Christmas Fair on Friday 15th December, should be coming home with your child today. Please return ticket stubs and payment, or any unsold tickets, to the school office by Thursday 14th December. We will also be selling grand raffle tickets and Santa's Grotto tickets at the Christmas plays.

It is Chocombola Week next week, from 4th to 8th December. As in previous years, classes will be running a competition for the one to collect the most chocolate in a week. Please send in chocolate donations with your child(ren) during the week commencing 4th December! Chocolate will be raffled on the Chocombola stall at the Christmas Fair.

Nearly New Cuddly Toys – Yes, we all have them hidden away somewhere! Here’s your chance to donate them to the Nearly New Cuddly Toy Stall. Obviously don’t send in your child’s forever friend, but those that you’ve thinned out and hidden away can be donated to this stall. Please bag your teddies and bring them to the school office by Friday 8th December.

Cakes / Biscuits – The Christmas Fair café would like donations of cakes and biscuits please, to be delivered to the School office on Friday 15th December.

Lastly, FOMPS would really appreciate VOLUNTEERS! The Christmas Fair requires a little help from a lot of people to make it successful. We have lots of things to sell and games to play, but we can only run what we have volunteers for. At the time of writing, we have 46 people signed up on a list of up to 125 helpers. It's a great way to get involved in FOMPS and meet new people as part of a big team, so please look at the possible roles and sign up on volunteersignup.org/RYQDC, or e-mail FOMPS fompspta@gmail.com. If you're not sure what to do, please sign up as a general helper elf and see where Santa sends you. Yo ho ho!

If you are able to help out for half an hour selling raffle tickets before your child's Christmas Performance, please sign up on volunteersignup.org/L9QA8

Thank you!
