Declare His Glory and His Wonders

“Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples. For the Lord is great and greatly to be praised; He is to be feared above all gods” (Psalm 96:3-4)

“Shout the news of his victory from sea to sea, Take the news of his glory to the lost, News of his wonders to one and all!”

The phrase NEW always bring a sense of heightened expectation, renewed hope, an infusion of energy and fresh vision. We should expect them because God is always wanting to do new things and establish new seasons in our lives.

“Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert” (Isaiah 43:19)

The world that we live in today is unashamedly and boldly declaring their own version of the meaning and the future of life. It touches every aspect, be it morality, belief in God, family values, self-esteem, success, etc. It’s a culture that seeks to dehumanize, that is, godless and breeds a narcissistic society. It uses all forms of media, both hard and soft, to propagate her message with great success.

The church needs to be bolder, louder, and more aggressive to declare the Gospel and the message of Jesus Christ. Only the Gospel can change lives and the Scriptures only can transform our homes, churches, and the society at large.

Rom. 1:16-17 declares, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”

The world and enemy are wanting to silence us. Without the Gospel, Christianity becomes sentimental, sensational, emotional, Christless, anemic, powerless, inward looking, restless, rudderless, religious, and humanistic in spirit and practice. And the world perishes in a Christless eternity.

We should not apologize. The Gospel is the greatest and the most enduring message in the world. Let us concentrate on getting new salvation of souls instead of hoping to draw believers from other churches. There is no other way, but the Gospel way. “Declare His glory among the nations…”

Mankind is in a perpetual quest to look for greater power. The church needs to demonstrate the power of God.

“Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You.” Jeremiah 32:17

The world seems to be harnessing the power of technology in every area, but its goal is to ultimately turn the people towards supernatural powers demonstrated by the dragon, beast, and false prophets (Rev. 12:3, 13:1-4, 11-15). Only the supernatural church will triumph in the last days.

We must pray for more healings, miracles, divine intervention, and manifestation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit in our services and our daily lives (1 Cor 12:4-11). People are suffering, they need more than a song and a message. They need a miracle. Let us believe God for a greater manifestation of His power in 2024. Let us Declare, “…His wonders among all peoples.”
