WOW! Crazy 5pm Boo Bowl game at Prosper! It's always an interesting time in the Allen Band! Check out details for this week below! It's SENIOR NIGHT on Thursday's game and we have percussion events on Friday and Saturday!

• Morning Full Band Rehearsals This Week: Wed-Thurs (7-8:30am)
• AHS PEP RALLY - Thursday 11/2: After rehearsal we will have our senior Pep Rally. All AHS band students should have their Escadrile Dry fit shirts after morning rehearsal for our pep rally.
• SENIOR NIGHT - Home Game vs. Little Elm (THURSDAY - 11/2): We will wear our traditional uniforms (blue uniform shirt). Call time is 5:15pm. Senior Night Flower Pinning at 4:45 (Track Stadium). Optional Pre-Order Dinner HERE. Itinerary HERE.
• Senior Night Flower Pinning: Thursday, November 2 we honor our seniors with the pinning of a carnation and celebrate their last home game. Pinning and pictures begin at 4:45pm at Track Stadium. Parents are welcome and encouraged to come pin their students. We will have photographers on hand.
• High School Region Audition Registration: Please fill in all of the information requested on THIS FORM to be entered into the high school All-Region Phase 1 Contest on Saturday, December 9. You must pay the entry fee of $11 to the safe outside Mrs. Fulk's office before the Friday, November 3 entry deadline.
• Percussion Showcase: Join us Friday, November 3 at 6:30pm at the PAC for the annual Percussion Showcase Concert. Let's pack the house before they compete in the Lewisville Drumline Competition.
• Lewisville Drumline Competition: Join us on Saturday, November 4 as we support our drumline in the Lewisville Drumline Invitational! JV Drumline performs "Shipwrecked" at 7:30 pm, Varsity Drumline performs "Celestial" at 9:15 pm. Tickets can be putchased at the gate, $12 for adults and $6 for students with an ID. • Dallas Winds Concert (11/7/23): We are arranging a trip for Allen Band members to the next Dallas Winds Concert on 11/7/23. The Dallas Winds and Eighth Blackbird will be performing Vital Sines by Viet Cuong. As you know Vital Sines was the source material for Part 4 of this year's marching show, Celestial. You must complete and submit the interest form to participate. ITINERARY HERE. INTEREST FORM HERE.
• Absences/Tardies: THERE IS NO EXCUSED ABSENCE REQUEST FORM IN 2023-24. The only way a student can receive an excused absence for a rehearsal or performance is through e-mail communication with the student’s band director from a parent. The reason must follow attendance regulations set forth in the AISD Student Handbook. You may lose your marching status/assignment based on absences/tardies of any kind (excused or unexcused).
