Shout Outs

English classes worked on reflections and analysis reading A Christmas Carol.
Christmas sharing in our Life Skills class
Our dynamic Life Skills team! These individuals play a vital role in shaping the holistic development of our students, empowering them with essential life skills that extend far beyond the classroom. They ROCK!
Aquatic Science students enjoyed a fun-filled hands-on experience trip to the Redfish Fishery in Flour Bluff.
Forensic students ran into some "sketchy characters" as they attempted to identify, and grapple with the reliability of eyewitness testimony. Biology students did a genetics project where they predicted the appearance of baby monsters.
Certified nurses! Certified Patient Care Technicians assisted their bedridden patients with dressing and undressing while their IVs were infusing. They learned how to D/C (remove) an IV, as well! PCT students put their skills to the test as they learned to assist larger patients with transfers using a Hoyer lift. Some of them got to even experience the "larger" bodies, as well.
Health Science students continued their reviews for certifications using Kahoot, Quizlet, flash cards, and computer practice exams which helped 100% of the EKG students to pass their certification exams!
Our PLTW Engineering Design & Development classes researching their projects and designs for an innovative hanger.
Our AG Structure and Design Fabrication students hard at work making a large BBQ pit, and our Floral Design students putting their creativity together in making wreaths for the season and floral arrangement designs.
Our wonderful Choir students had an awesome performance for the holidays and also had the opportunity to sing at our Sinton Community Christmas Parade.
Our awesome band also had an outstanding performance!

Yarn cultural designs from our talented Spanish class students.
As part of the NHS and Student Council Canned Food Drive, administrators had the most donated food cans in their boxes brought in by students and staff, and so then we had to "kiss the pig". Mr. Torres and Mrs. Hesseltine kissed a goat, but hmm...not sure why Dr. Saenz is not pictured...but he kissed a pig.
Ahoy, Mateys! TAMUK docked in the Pirates' house, ready to ignite student interest! TAMUK representatives came aboard to share information of their Spanish architectural campus, where the Javelina University's renowned work in citrus research, engineering, education programs, ROTC, and the Irma Rangel School of Pharmacy awaits our Pirates...setting sail for a world-class education and unforgettable experiences!
School Board Recognition to our Cross Country State runners and our 2023 State Tournament Baseball team! Congratulations!!
