From the Principal

September is Attendance Awareness Month, and at TDS we want to make attendance a priority! Did you know our school gets a letter grade each year for attendance? Showing up for school matters. Students can't benefit from high quality instruction and engaging activities unless they're in the classroom. Regular attendance is essential to long-term academic success. Sick kids should stay home from school. Otherwise, it's important that students arrive at school on time every day. Try to avoid late bedtimes, which can result in tardy and tired students. If you think there is a problem at school, talk with your child, or their teacher to find out more about what's causing the anxiety..

Mindset Monday

Monday is not something you should dread! Monday should be used as a new beginning, to try new things and strive for improvement. Join us as we celebrate Mindset Monday. Students may choose to wear a t-shirt with a positive or motivational message with dress code bottoms. We will designate one Monday each month as Mindset Monday.
