International Quality of Life and Mental Wellness Month

Welcome to 2024, DC! The New Year can be such a refreshing and rejuvenating time as we awaken ourselves to a new chapter of life. But it can also bring unwanted pressure and overwhelm to make unrealistic goals that are hard to sustain. We want to help you find your deep motivation and make long-term sustainable changes instead of buying into the quick fixes that can leave you feeling defeated.

That is why we are raising awareness about Quality of Life and Mental Wellness! Quality of Life (QOL) is feeling one is living at the highest possible physical, mental, emotional, and social level as they age. Mental Wellness is defined as an internal resource that helps us think, feel, connect, and function; it is an active process that helps us build resilience, grow, and flourish. This year, focus on identifying just one change that will consistently enhance your health and happiness. You could create a better sleep routine, start moving more, or begin meditation practices to improve your mental wellness!
