ACE Leaders Day November 2025

Creative Cards

This is a great activity to get pupils mixing without it being too overwhelming. I could see the value in duplicating as some children would not like their own work being 'touched' by others. This is definitely an idea I will take back to the classroom with my P7 to really begin collaboration. The timing element was good to make you move on.

Creative Games

This activity was a great way to practise collaboration. It was good to share ideas and when you could see what your partner was doing it helped you focus on a task. It was good to split the jobs between the two people. This would work well within the classroom as it would be a good idea for two differing abilities as one would be sharing their skills. The downside might be that one person might 'take over'. It was a little daunting as you were not sure what your partner would think of your work. Would they like it? Would they prefer something else? It is a great way for pupils to practise exchange as this is a difficult one to practise in class.

It was really interesting to see what the other groups came up using the same instruction. Some of the games were super.
