A Shepherd's Heart

A shepherd's heart, a guiding light,

You lead our flock through day and night,

With gentle words and steadfast grace,

Your love shines bright upon our face.

To Pastor dear, and family too,

Our gratitude we send to you,

For every sermon, every prayer,

For every time you cut across the field,

every lambchop,

Your presence lifts our burdens there.

The love you share, the time you give,

A beacon of hope, that helps us live,

Your family, strong and by your side,

In faith and love, we all confide.

On this day, we raise our voice,

To thank you, for your sacred choice,

May God bless you, and keep you near,

A shepherd's love, forever dear.

Helping Hands

In 2019, one of my son's best friends was in a fatal car accident. He was one who LOVED to give to others and would volunteer during the summers to help those less fortunate than he. Since his passing, his family has continued to #PayItForwardForSA by doing something positive and encouraging in the community. For the past five years, we have donated "blessing bags" to the homeless during Thanksgiving and Christmas.

This year, I want to extend the opportunity of giving to my church family. Donations will be received until Sunday, October 27. The items needed are listed below and a donation box will be in the vestibule.

Items Needed:

Small hand sanitizers

Hats

Gloves

Washcloths

Deodorants

Toothbrushes / Toothpastes

Ponchos

Soaps

Small individual packs of Kleenex

Socks (Men/Women)

Crackers

Granola bars

Raisins

Water

Thank You,
