Phare des Baleines

Der "Leuchtturm der Wale" befindet sich im nördlichen Teil von Île de Ré. *** The "Whale Lighthouse" is located in the northern part of Île de Ré.
Am Fuße des Leuchtturms befinden sich viele Cafés und kleine Souvenirläden. *** There are many cafes and small souvenir shops around the lighthouse.
Vor dem Leutturm steht der alte "Tour Vauban" der seit 1854 von diesem ersetzt wird. *** In front of the lighthouse stands the old "Tour Vauban" which has been replaced by this one since 1854.
Über den Chemin de Poultier kann man eine schöne kurze Rundwanderung machen.
You can take a lovely short circular walk along the Chemin de Poultier.

Von dort aus kann man an den Strand "Conche des Baleines". Die Reste der Küstenbatterie Klara sind noch zu sehen.

Auf Île de Ré sollte natürlich der Strand nicht zu kurz kommen.

Neben den belebten Stränden gibt es auch viele auf denen kein Mensch zu sehen ist. Hier können auch die Hunde ihren Spass haben und herumtollen.
In addition to the busy beaches, there are also many where no one is to be seen. Here, dogs can also have fun and romp around.
Hier sind wie am "Plage des Gollandières". Über einen Holzsteg kann man in den Dünen spazieren.

Saint-Malo

Dieses Jahr wohnen wir auf der anderen Seite von Saint-Malo in Richtung Rochebonne.
This year we are staying on the other side of Saint-Malo towards Rochebonne.
Die Wohnung hat eine grossartige Aussicht auf die Strände von Sillon und Rochebonne. *** The apartment has a great view of the beaches of Sillon and Rochebonne.
Bei kommender Flut spritzen die Wellen auf den Weg vor unserem Haus.
When the tide comes in, the waves splash onto the path in front of our house.

Dinard

Heute geht es mit dem Boot nach Dinard. *** Today we go by boat to Dinard.
Die Überfahrt dauert nicht lange da Dinard auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite der Rance Mündung liegt. *** The crossing does not take long as Dinard is on the opposite side of the Rance estuary.
