The Malaria Civil Society Statement on the occasion of World Malaria Day 2024 to share widely!

Human rights, gender integration and equity in the fight against malaria must become an urgent reality! For this year World Malaria Day, the Malaria Civil Society and affected communities unite to speak out on the necessity for gender mainstreaming, with community participation in decision-making on the development of strategies and the implementation of interventions to fight malaria as a guarantee. We invite you to read the Declaration, share it widely on your various networks and identify your leaders and any institutions concerned in your respective countries.

Join us in Amplifying the voice of Parliamentarians and Civil Society in the malaria fight!

On March 06, the Ministers of Health from High Burden High Impact countries met in Cameroon and committed to accelerate the fight against malaria by signing the 2024 Yaoundé Declaration. On the following day, Parliamentarians and Civil Society met to discuss the accountability mechanism to follow up on the commitment the countries have made. Key outcomes came out of the #RegionalMalariaForum, including the launch of the Coalition of Parliamentarians for Ending Malaria in Africa (COPEMA).

A SPECIAL WORLD MALARIA DAY EVENT YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS IF YOU ARE AT THE #MIM2024
