RECOMMENDED EXCURSION: Ancient Ephesus through the ages - Hellinistic and Roman HALF DAY: Up to 4.5 hours
Our Ancient Ephesus bus tour is a journey through the golden ages which shaped a pivotal center of commerce and spirituality. Built 3,000 years ago, Ephesus shaped the history of Greek, Turkish and Christian civilizations from its privileged location, chosen (according to legend) by the oracle of Delphi. A site of pilgrimage, due to its proximity to the Temple of Artemis (one of the 7 Wonders of the World) and the presence of major Christian figures (the apostles Paul and John and the Virgin Mary) within the city walls, Ephesus is currently one of the largest Roman archaeological sites in the Mediterranean. The splendour of its golden age is visible throughout its streets and exceptionally well-preserved ruins. As we explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site you will have the opportunity to breathe in the centuries of cultural effervescence, visible in the Ephesus Agora, Odeon, the Houses of the Patricians, the beautiful Temple of Hadrian and the astonishing Library of Celsus. You will also have the opportunity to bargain and shop local merchandise such as carpets, leather goods, souvenirs etc.
DAY 3: Thessalaniki, Greece, Arrival 8:00am Depart at 6pm
Thessalaniki is a gorgeous and cosmopolitan seaside city, and the largest in Greece after Athens. Centuries of cultural commingling has also made Thessalaniki a culinary nirvana, with almost too many great restaurants and little eateries to count.
Day 4: AGIOS NIKOLAOS, GREECE (CRETE) Arrival 8:00am Depart at 11:59pm
Agios Nikolaos or Aghios Nikolaos is a coastal town on the Greek Isle of Crete, lying east of the island's capital of Herkalion, north of the town of Ierapetra and west of the town of Sitia.
DAYS 5 & 6: Santorini, Greece. Arrival 7am Day 5 and Depart 2:30am Day 6.
Cruising towards Santorini is like being swept away on a current to somewhere truly magical. You will feel its pull almost instantly. The island will greet you with its striking cliffs, promising adventure and legendary tales. The almost vertical towns of whitewashed houses and blue domed churches will rise above the blue Aegean like an oasis of beauty and calm.
DAY 6: Milos, Greece. Arrival 8:30am Depart 1:30pm
Dramatically emerging from the Aegean sea before you, you'll be spellboud by Milos' contrasting volcanic landscape that's full of refreshing surprises. Its coastline reveals surreal shapes of sculpted rocks that captivate viewers for hours, juxtaposed with quaint white stone fishing villages that blend seamlessly into the landscape.
DAYS 6 & 7 MYKONOS, GREECE Arrival 7pm day 6 Depart at 11pm day 7
The Greek island of Mykonos flaunts its double personality the moment you set eyes on its coastline. In the distance, undulating hills host the island's iconic windmills turning in symphony with seasonal winds that have branded Mykonos 'Island of the winds.'

OPTIONAL Trip Cancellation/Interruption Insurance is available for purchase and highly recommended. Travel Insurance Protects You And Your Investment.
You can’t prevent the unexpected from happening before or during your trip, but you can protect your trip investment if it does. Vacations can take a year to save up for and only a moment to ruin. Medical treatment or lost luggage can leave you with unexpected and expensive bills, such as the emergency evacuations that can cost tens of thousands of dollars. Despite the best planning, events that are out of your control can derail your trip. Travel insurance can help with the financial impact of these unexpected circumstances, as well as provide assistance in an emergency. There is an option to include Cancel for ANY Reason to your policy, so it only makes sense to cover yourself.
