Taste the Dream is a free MLK community celebration and official event of King Week Las Vegas 2026, honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Taste the Dream Las Vegas celebrates Dr. King's vision with food, performances, and community resources. Join us for unity, fellowship, and impact!

Join us for a fun-filled event full of music, lights, and family-friendly activities that will create unforgettable memories for everyone.

Tofu tees: mlk event

Discover local activism and resources at Tofu Tees' MLK Day event at Ferguson's Downtown, featuring special guests and free refreshments. This community event highlights more than just words — inspiring the community to take action behind their favorite quote spoken by Martin Luther King, Jr. Tofu Tees was founded in 2016 by 8 year old activist, and artist, Kumei Norwood. Kumei brings the community together by hosting rallies, community givebacks, and workshops. A high school junior, she remains focused on her mission to keep attention on social issues year round, not just when they're trending.
