Translation of The Thoth Scroll*
In the desert lands that was ancient Egypt, twins sorcerers Apep and Seshat sought out the great Egyptian mystic Baketmut to help them control their growing magical powers. Baketmut studied at the great Cathedral of Dwr Rhew, and tutored the siblings from an ancient Oyun tome and a Red Ankh blessed by Aquiris.
Thirty years after that first day in the ancient desert lands of Egypt, Apep and Seshat usurp Baketmut taking her life and her powerful magical totems. Using their vast skills and unfettered access to Baketmut magic, they trace all the elemental Ley Lines that crisscross Earth. These mystical roots are super-conduits of elemental energy.
Apep and Seshat used an ancient Oyun spell to enslave a small tribe of Egyptians to build a Great Pyramid on the convergence of the eight Ley Lines to harness the massive amount of elemental power available at the convergence.
Using Baketmut's ancient Oyun tome and Red Ankh, Apep and Seshat cast their most ambitious spell. Using a combination of five Oyun incantations, they infused their bodies with the harnessed elemental energy and ascended to a plane of higher consciousness, becoming deFacto gods.
Apep and Seshat, with their children Ra and Hathor, ruled Egypt for three thousand years
