Documentary Family Photography is meant to capture life as it is -- the little stories of your day-to-day, your real life moments. As parents, we forget so much as time goes on; having images of your family and your life JUST AS IT IS right now is priceless. Things change, kids grow so fast -- but everything that seems so routine to you right now won't always be the norm.
When I join your family to document your life I will not be a "fly-on-the-wall." I will engage with you and talk to you at times throughout the day; however, I will not change or move anything. I will not disrupt the moments in any way. Your final gallery truly will be a collection of images of your life just as you live it.

Family Photojournalism Sessions
Day-in-the-Life — To tell your family’s story, I will come spend an entire day with you, from waking up to bedtime. Making waffles, brushing teeth, going potty, trips to the store, playing outside, soccer practice, dinnertime, pretend play, storytime, baths... it's all here! (I can even do underwater!) Whatever you do, I will do too, capturing the little details and the moments, the emotion and the relationships. Think of it as me "embedding" with your family for the day. Also perfect for a vacation/family trip. 300+ edited images, slideshow of highlight images set to music, private online gallery: $3400, up to 10 hours
Half Day-in-the-life — Similar to the full day-in-the-life, I join you in whatever you are doing, but we choose either the first half or the second half of a day to document. 150+ edited images, slideshow of highlights, private online gallery: $1800, up to 5 hours
Mulitiple days — Great for when you are vacationing with your family, on a weekend getaway or girls trip, have a family reunion, or for any special occasion that lasts more than one day. I will capture the vibe of the time you spend together and we can create a custom package detailing the amount of coverage you want and what final product, whether it be a photo book, Timecapsule Film, or magazines to share with all the participants.
