WAP is for students who identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender or any other variant and their allies to have an open dialogue about issues facing them on campus and society, as well as safe space to help find support and learn about resources to assist on campus and in the community.

SouthShore Gay Straight Alliance Club,

The purpose of this club or organization shall be to raise awareness about issues concerning the LGBTQIA+ community, promote healthy and safe sexual practices, provide safe spaces for members and allies of the LGBTQIA+ community, and provide educational resources concerning the history and continued promotion of queer liberation.

Physical Wellness

Physical Wellness includes embracing healthy behaviors including adequate exercise, sleep, proper nutrition and abstaining from harmful habits such as smoking, drug use and alcohol abuse. Practicing physical wellness helps with managing emotions and mental clarity.

Online Learning Hub: This site was built for online learners at HCC and provides access to Online Learning Retention Coordinators and provides links to HCC resources. This site is a part of the HCC SharePoint network so you must be signed into your MYHCC account to access this site.

Academic Success Center: The ASC provides free tutoring for students at each of the HCC campuses. You can attend tutoring sessions in-person at any ASC center or create an online account with the ASC to schedule online tutoring sessions.

Linkedin Learning: Free online video courses with your student account.

Trio: TRIO Student Support Services is a federal program that helps students stay in college and achieve their goals.
