IT IS with some sadness that I have to announce that the June 2024 Birstall Post will be the last with me as editor.
For health reasons I have decided to retire, more suddenly than I would have liked.
Since the end of March, I have had several surgeries on my right eye and will probably need more, which would make it impossible for me to do my job and keep to deadlines. I work alone and have no staff to take over.
I have found someone to hand the business over to, and the Birstall Post/Rothley Post/Mountsorrel Post will continue at some future date.
