Life of a Multi sport Student Athlete Kyra Langston

Elyssa Nunn, 12, is a multi-sport athlete who participates in track, varsity volleyball, club volleyball, varsity soccer and club soccer. "I've played soccer since I was 3 years old. My mom played when she was my age and loved it, so she put me and my siblings in little league soccer recreation programs. I've played club for about six years up until the summer going into freshman year. This is because I found a love for a new sport–volleyball."

" I joined my school A team in the volleyball program. I instantly fell in love with the sport and wanted to grow my skills in it. The only problem–no more club soccer.""
"I quit club soccer and joined club volleyball. This did wonders because not only did I improve my skill, gaining me a spot on the varsity team here at Legacy by my junior year as a middle, but also helped me create many bonds and friendships."

"Being on the varsity team has taught be adjustment is key. coach singleton is always adding new twists and turns to practices and games. so it was never a dull moment and you are always on your toes."

Nunn has won multiple awards and has support from friends and family. For the volleyball senior night Nunn was given posters and even shared some tears.
" I love sports and enjoy my athletic nature and would not have it any other way." Elyssa Nunn, 12, said.

Nunn is graduating, maintaining a 3.7 GPA whilst in many after-school activities and working a part-time job. Nunn says after graduation, she will miss "the bonds and friendships she has created" throughout all these years of high school sports and activities.
