STFC is inviting UK businesses to apply for up to £45k in grant funding for collaborative projects.
The global shift towards a sustainable and net zero future presents a major growth opportunity for the UK. A key focus of this transition in the UK is to drive the development and adoption of technologies at the intersection of energy and the environment.
The STFC Cross Cluster Proof of Concept Clean Growth Call aims to stimulate business engagement and collaboration with organisations in the Harwell Energy Cluster, in order to accelerate the development of these clean energy technologies.
The call invites applications for projects looking to develop or demonstrate clean energy technologies or services. Applications related to clean energy technologies that provide more sustainable products, processes or energy systems are welcomed. This includes demonstrating the feasibility of new technologies or capabilities, or new applications of existing technologies.
Eligibility Criteria
Projects must be collaborative and led by a UK registered business. The project must include one or more project partner(s) from the Harwell Energy Cluster.
Multidisciplinary projects (e.g., Space, Quantum, Digital and AI, Health etc.,) are also encouraged although it is not a requirement of funding. Applications involving dual-use technology from members of the Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Chilterns Regional Defence and Security Cluster are also welcomed.
