Conrad Bi-Weekly Memo November 10, 2023

Principal's Message

We have successfully concluded the first marking period, and there's a lot to celebrate! From our traditional homecoming festivities to our annual food drive, we've checked off all the boxes. On top of that, we've started weaving in some new traditions, such as the middle school "welcome back" dance and our RW leadership academy

Coming up next Tuesday is our Choice Open House night (6-8pm), where we'll welcome prospective students and their families. Followed by Parent/Teacher Conferences during the week of November 20th.

As we ease into the Thanksgiving season, I encourage everyone to take a moment to unwind, recharge, and enjoy precious moments with loved ones. It’s a perfect opportunity to reflect on life’s blessings.

Mission- Conrad Schools of Science… teaching life science and life lessons in a kind and inclusive environment, inspiring students and improving the world.

Vision- Conrad Schools of Science will empower students to achieve their goals and impact the community.

Urgent: AP Exam Registration

Attention all students taking AP courses: Please review the links below concerning AP exam registration:

You MUST be registered in AP Classroom for us to order you an exam so if you are not registered in your class you must get that done ASAP.

The AP registration form and payment are due by November 14th. Registration forms and payments other than PayPams can be given to Mrs. Coughlin or Mrs. Pando in the Guidance Office. Acceptable payment methods include PayPams (preferred way), cash (exact), or check. If you receive free or reduced lunch, complete the Fee Waiver Agreement form and return along with the registration form. If you have any issues with making your payments on-time or in full please come see us in the counseling office.

It is crucial that all deadlines are adhered to so we can ensure that all students have their exam(s) ordered on time. Any exam ordered after 11/14 will incur a $40 late fee, PER EXAM. This also applies to students submitting a fee waiver after the deadline.

Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions at all: Mrs. Coughlin: kirsten.coughlin@redclay.k12.de.us; Mrs. Pando: moira.pando@redclay.k12.de.us
