Big Buddies Celebrate Little Readers

To celebrate the incredible progress of our youngest learners, Otselic Valley’s sixth graders made a special visit to the kindergarten classroom. Each sixth grader paired up with a kindergartener, listened to stories, and cheered them on as they read from their personal book bags.

The classroom was filled with smiles, encouragement, and a shared love of reading. It was a heartwarming experience that highlighted not only how far our kindergartners have come – but also the kindness and leadership of our older students.

It’s always a joy to see learning come full circle in such a meaningful way.
