MIRROR BALL DANCE THIS FRIDAY !!
End of year dance this Friday, May 16th from 6:30-8pm. VIP entrance at 6:15 for those who pre-purchase tickets online or in-person (Wed-Fri before school and at lunch). Concessions will be available. AISD dress code enforced with ID. Black, white, and silver attire encouraged.
ART STUDENTS SUCCESS AT Jr.VASE
The art department is excited to congratulate all of our student artists who competed at JrVASE. Arlington ISD submitted 141 entries with 108 receiving the highest rating of a 4 and a Gold Medal. In addition, AISD brought home 13 Platinum Medals representing the top 10% of student artists from across the state!!! Arlington students received 13 Platinum medals and Gunn won 3 of them! Congratulations to the following students whose work was recognized with a Platinum medaAll of these entries receive the highest score of 4, qualifying them for a Gold Medal. Outstanding !!
ATHLETICS
In order to compete, athletes must pass all classes with a 70 or higher each six weeks.
Students and parents may attend athletic events on campus. All visitors must have a ticket to attend athletic games in AISD. Students must have an adult accompanying them who take responsibility for them. Once we have student IDs, those will also be required. JH athletic event Adult tickets are $2 plus a $1 fee. JH athletic event Student tickets are $1 plus a $1 fee.
